Civil protection forces in the Red Sea governorate put out a fire that erupted in a marketplace in Shalateen city on Tuesday, with no causalities reported.

The blaze caused minor damage to about 25 shops and a wooden kiosk.

Head of Shalateen city Wageeh Mamoun decided to form a committee to count the losses.

The prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
