A fire erupted in a crane loading containers at the Adabia Port in Suez was extinguished, the Red Sea Ports Authority said on Tuesday.
Naval forces managed to contain the fire, said the authority media spokesman Abdel Rehim Mostafa.
An investigation was launched to determine the cause of the fire, he added.
