First Friday prayers held in Grand Mosque

The Friday prayers held in the Grand Mosque of Ramadi for the first time after the city was recaptured from Daesh grip.

The prayer was held amid tightened security measures.

A raft of police leaders and military commanders were present at the prayers delivered by a senior preacher Abdel Latif al Hamim.

During the Friday's sermon, al Hamim called on the Iraqi political ship to complete the liberation of Ramdai and restore security and stability in Al-Anbar.

He called for concreted efforts to realize victory over Daesh terror group.
