Visiting Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry gave the green light for the start of a promotional campaign to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the inception of the parliamentary life in Egypt.
The campaign, to be launched in the US capital, will post wide segments of the American society on the current developments in Egypt and parliamentary practices in the country, Shoukry said.
Meanwhile, Egypt’s Ambassador here Yasser Reda said the promotional campaign will carry a tourism and political message.
Posters will be hung near the White House, the US Congress and tourist buses in Washington, the ambassador said.
It will run until March in tandem with the Nuclear Security Summit, which Washington hosts in late March, he said.
