The foreign ministers of the neighbors of Libya condemned during their sixth meeting in Chad the development of the terrorist groups' activity in the Libyan city of Sirte and its surrounding areas, said the media bureau of the Libyan Foreign Ministry.

In a statement on Tuesday, the bureau urged all the Libyan parties to offer the political support in order to reach an agreement and called for forming an urgent national unity government.

The ministers also voiced full support to the efforts exerted by the UN envoy to Libya Bernardino Leon, added the statement.

The ministers also voiced deep concern over the deteriorating security situation in Libya.
