President of FNAL Abdelhamid Djeldjli (C)

The president of the National Front for Authenticity and Freedoms (FNAL), Abdelhamid Djeldjli, called Wednesday for a constitution with references to all the components of national identity.
Speaking to reporters following a meeting with the minister of State, principle private secretary to the presidency of the Republic Ahmed Ouyahia, as part of consultations about the constitutional revision project, Djeldjli said his party proposed a constitution based on all the components of national identity.
He also called for everybody's participation in order to have a Constitution for the nation and not for a certain group of society and to ensure that that everyone will respect it and abide by its articles.
On May 15, the presidency of the Republic invited 150 partners, especially political parties, national organisations and groups to be part of the consultations, following a decision by President Bouteflika at a Council of Ministers meeting on May 7.
