Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Aati said the crisis cell, which was formed to follow up the conditions of about 20 Egyptians detained in Libya, ended a meeting on Tuesday morning.
He said the cell focused on means to release the kidnapped Egyptians, warning the Egyptians against travel to Libya under any circumstances.
The spokesman pointed out to the insistence of some Egyptians to travel to Libya illegally, saying a number of them were held before traveling.
