The corpse of a Bahraini student who died today in a tragic blaze in Jordan is to be brought back home. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is following up the repatriation of the body of Zainab Mahdi to Bahrain
The move follows directives from His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa in the aftermath of the tragic incident. In a statement today, the ministry said that it's following up the conditions of the other students, who had been admitted to the hospital for medical treatment in Jordan.
"All necessary measures have been taken in line with the directives of HRH the Premier", said Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa He paid tribute to HRH the Premier for his directives which reflect his keenness on Bahrainis' safety in all regions of the world. The ministry acted immediately and set up a work team in cooperation with Amman-based Bahraini Embassy to follow-up the tragic incident and take the necessary measures in tandem with the Jordanian officials. The minister extended sincere condolences to the bereaved family, wishing the injured Bahraini students quick recovery.
