The former secretary general of the United Nations Boutros Ghali called on the wise men in the region to adopt dialogue to ease tension and bring points of view between different parties a closer to foil any attempt to harm the stability of the region.

On the occasion of the of the new year, he said that the aim of fostering dialogue is to prevent division and violations against human rights in the region.

He hoped that, during the new year, the world would get rid of terrorism and achieve peace and prosperity in various countries.
