French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Jean-Marc Ayrault along with his accompanying delegation wrapped up their two-day visit to Egypt on Thursday.
During the visit, the French official met with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
Sisi affirmed, during his meeting with Ayrault, Egypt's keenness on continuing cooperation with France in implementing mega projects and increasing the investments of French companies in Egypt, especially in infrastructure, transportation and energy sectors.
Earlier, the French official also said that the visit by French President Francois Hollande to Egypt on April 18-19 comes upon an invitation from the Egyptian president and aims to boost bilateral ties.
He also said that France stands beside Egypt in uprooting terrorism.
