The Saudi Royal Court announced that Friday, July 17, is the first day of Eidul-Fitr (Lesser Bairam).
The Saudi Supreme Court said "tomorrow, Friday, 1 Shawwal 1436 of Umm Al Qura calendar is the day of Eid al-Fitr," said a statement by the royal court.
This means that Ramadan this year will be 29 days.
