Algiers - Arab Today
The Algerian Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments issued directives on Friday to all preachers in the country to talk about terror-related security concerns, especially the terrorist Daesh group in Libya, during the Friday sermon.
This move came as part of a campaign launched recently by the Algerian government in response to a call by Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika to raise the Algerian people's awareness about threats of terrorist groups.
The ministry called on the Algerian people to maintain their country's unity and reject extremist thoughts.
