Security forces at Cairo International Airport Wednesday arrested a fugitive terrorist Muslim Brotherhood member upon arrival at the airport.

The MB member, aged 34, is charged along others with attacking a checkpoint set up before a police station in Al Sharqia governorate, the interior ministry said in a statement.

The MB element is wanted for serving a ten-year jail sentence, the statement added.

All legal procedures were taken to refer the defendant to the prosecution.
