Flocks of Beheira citizens on Friday attended a funeral for three persons who died after their ferryboat had sunken in the Nile River.

On Thursday, the ferryboat, carrying 17 people, sank in the Nile River in Kafr el Sheikh, leaving 15 dead, while two were rescued.

The ferry was transferring people between two towns in Kafr el Sheikh and Behaira governorates when the accident occurred.
