A delegation comprising a number of Palestinian factions and independent figures headed Tuesday for the West Bank via Erez crossing to participate in the Palestinian Central Council (PCC) meeting of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
In a statement, senior leader of the PLO Yasser al Wadia said about 20 Palestinian figures left the Gaza Strip for Ramallah city after getting Israeli crossing permits.
The PCC meeting would focus on the important files, notably the Palestinian reconciliation, the Gaza Strip's reconstruction and withholding of Palestinian tax revenues.
