Gulf Cooperation Council

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) condemned on Wednesday the savage killing of Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh by Daesh militants, saying such a crime has nothing to do with any religion or humanitarian values.
This crime reflects those militants' indifference of any religious or humanitarian value, GCC chief Abdul Lateef Al Zayani said in a statement.
He expressed the GCC support of Jordan in any step that would back its stability and security.
He expressed condolences to the pilot's family, saying Kasasbeh died while defending his nation.
This intolerable crime will make everyone more determined to fight terrorism, he said.
Kasasbeh was burnt alive in a cage and the videotape was released by the militant group on Tuesday.
The pilot was captured when his plane came down near Raqqa, Syria, during a mission against Daesh in December.
