Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary General Abdel Latif Bin Rashed el Zeyani strongly denounced the terrorist attack in the Lebanese city of Tripoli leaving several people killed and injured.
Such heinous crime contradicts all norms and values and aims at inciting sectarian sedition and threatening security and stability in Lebanon, Zeyani said in a statement released Monday.
He stressed solidarity of the GCC member states with Lebanon and expressed deepest condolences to the families of the victims, the government and the people.
