Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdul Latif Bin Rashid Al Zayani condemned on Saturday the kidnapping of presidential office director Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak in central Sana'a, describing it as a terrorist act.
He urged all Yemeni political factions to commit to renouncing violence and working on implementing the Gulf initiative and the outcomes of the national dialogue.
He also called on the international community to support the political process in Yemen and to shoulder the responsibility towards any Yemeni group that aims to obstruct the process.
