Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani mourned on Friday the death of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdel Aziz, who passed away earlier in the day.
Zayani offered condolences to the Saudi people and the GCC countries over the demise of the Saudi monarch.
He also praised the late Saudi king for his efforts to boost development in Saudi Arabia.
Zayani wished Saudi Arabia more security and prosperity under the new king's reign.
