Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani highlighted Wednesday the importance of maintaining security and stability of all GCC courtiers.

Any assault against any of the GCC countries is an assault against all member states, he added in a speech at the Omani National Defense College.

The GCC countries adhere to the principles of good neighborliness and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, the top official said.

The GCC is capable of overcoming all the current challenges, he underlined.
