The Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held an extraordinary meeting Saturday to discuss Iran's violations against the region and attacks on the Saudi missions there.

The closed meeting was chaired by Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Jubeir.

Saudi Arabia severed relations with Iran after an attack on its embassy in Tehran on Sunday following the kingdom's execution of Shiite religious leader Nemr al Nemr, who was put to death along with 46 others convicted with terrorism charges.
