The General Federation of Arab Journalists slammed on Wednesday the attack that targeted a number of Yemeni photojournalists in Taiz on Monday.

The attack was launched by Houthi and Saleh militants and left one photojournalist dead and four others injured.

In a statement Wednesday, the federation strongly condemned the brutal assault against them while doing their work.

The move came to defend the freedom of opinion and the journalists' task of delivering facts in a completely objective and accurate way.
