Gharbia Security chief Nabil Abdel Fattah inspected on Friday all fixed and mobile checkpoints at the entrances to and exits of the cities of Tanta and El Mahalla.

All vital facilities, police stations, schools and places of worship, railways and electricity pylons are fully secured by police forces, Abdel Fattah said in statements.

He stressed that the security situation in the governorate is stable, warning that any violation will be strictly handled.
