Gharbia Security Chief Abdel Hamid Abdel Azim inspected on Friday all fixed and mobile checkpoints at the entrances and exits of the governorate.

All public squares, police installations, schools and places of worship, railways and electricity pylons are totally secured by police forces, Abdel Azim said in press statements.

Sappers are spread to search for any strange objects, he said, adding that any violation will be strictly handled.

This came as part of endeavors to follow up the security situation in Gharbia.
