Gharbiya Security Chief Abdel Hamid Abdel Azim toured Friday a number of fixed and mobile checkpoints that have been set up at the entrances to and exits of the Nile Delta city of Tanta.

All governmental and vital facilities, places of worship, railway lines and electricity pylons in the governorate have been fully secured, he said.

Police will decisively deal with anyone who tries to threaten citizen's security and state stability, he added.

Several police campaigns have been launched to arrest outlaws, he asserted.
