Gharbiya Security Director General Ossama Badier denied news reports that a bomb-like object was found beside Mahala hospital and Al Amal public park in Tanta.
In statements on Saturday, Bedier said these reports are bare of truth, urging media to be accurate in circulating news reports in order not to intimidate citizens.
He said all security leaders were ordered to be deployed in all vital areas of the city in order to foil any attempts by criminal elements or outlaws to incite violence or spread chaos.
