Giza Criminal Court under Counselor Moatez Khafagi postponed till June 8 the trial of 36 terrorists over charges of forming a terrorist group.
The attempted assassination of counselor Khafagi today forced the postponement.
Khafagi escaped death when three bombs went off outside his house in Wady Houf in Helwan, wounding four of his neighbors and damaging five cars.
Today defendants are accused of taking advantage of protesters at Rabaa and Nahda sit-in camps to carry out terrorist crimes against police and army and collecting donations from the participants in the two sit-ins to buy arms, ammunition and explosives.
