Giza Governor Khaled Zakaria Adli said on Sunday that he will raise the state of alert in the governorate to brace for Coptic Easter and Sham el Nesim.
He said, during a meeting with the heads of different directorates and districts, necessary instructions will be sent to them on ways of dealing with emergencies.
He added that security bodies will beef up security around churches and in public parks during the two occasions.
