The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states would not intervene militarily in Yemen to protect their interests there, official told Saudi paper of Asharq Al-Awsat.
The GCC states are to adopt a strict stance towards the situation in Yemen soon, he added.
The stance would be declared on the sidelines of the GCC Foreign Ministers' meeting slated for Saturday, he underlined.
He blamed Iran for the current chaos witnessed by Yemen through using the Houthi group as a tool to seize power there.
