Unidentified gunmen on Wednesday stole high pressure cables in the Upper Egyptian city of Luxor and attacked personnel of a checkpoint.
The gunmen, on board of a truck, have attacked the checkpoint's personnel after they tried to investigate the carload, said a security source.
It added that policemen chased the truck, arresting one of the attackers and seizing the car.
