A habitual criminal, Adel Allam, was killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in Sadat city of Monufia governorate.
Earlier, prosecution ordered to arrest the criminal, accusing him of killing a first lieutenant in Sadat city on March 28.
Security forces identified his location and cordoned of the area but when the defendant feel the forces' approach, he opened fire at the forces that fired back.
