Deputy Chairman of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh expressed the Palestinian movement's solidarity with Lebanon and Hizbullah group over the recent Israeli assassination of its leaders.
"We stand with Lebanon and its resistance, and we confirm that our people are in the frontline in terms of resisting the occupation," Haniyeh said, addressing audience in an event in Gaza.
The assassination of Hezbollah leaders was a message to the Arab peoples, said Haniyeh, stressing the need to unite and bridge differences.
On Sunday, six Hezbollah fighters were killed in a targeted air strike while they were on a field inspection in Quneitra in the Syrian Golan Heights.
