Gaza City - MENA
Palestine's Hamas movement on Tuesday rejected Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Madani's calls on Muslims to visit the occupied Quds (East Jerusalem).
The movement said that liberation of al Quds and al Aqsa holy mosque would only happen by resistance and jihad because the enemy only understands this language.
Eagerness to visit al Aqsa and praying there can not be a justification for normalization with Israel, Hamas added.
The movement also called on Arab and Islamic countries to do their best to secure the holy mosque and support Palestine's resistance forces.
On Sunday, OIC Secretary-General Iyad Madani renewed earlier invitations for Arabs and Muslims to visit Israeli-occupied Quds and al Aqsa Mosque.
