Gaza City - MENA
Hamas on Sunday urged the Palestinian government to fulfill pledges on employees and crossings of the Gaza Strip.
In a brief statement, Hamas Spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri called on the government to stop its "selective policies" of implementing agreements and to put an end to "a discrimination policy" against against thousands of Hamas-hired civil servants in Gaza.
Ten months after taking office, eight Palestinian Cabinet ministers paid a rare week-long visit to the enclave on Sunday.
Hamas took control of Gaza from the forces of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in 2007.
Thousands of the Gaza Strip's civil servants have not received their monthly salaries since the reconciliation government was unveiled in June.
