Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah said he hopes Germany will recognize the Palestinian independent state on the 1967 borders with al Quds as its capital.

Hamdallah received a German delegation, under Speaker of the Lower Saxony parliament Bernd Bosman, and briefed them on the latest political and economic developments in Palestine.

He also called for promoting bilateral relations in the various fields and hailed Germany's efforts to support Gaza reconstruction process.
