H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, today received Mohammed Idris Abu Safitah, new Consul-General of Libya in Dubai, who paid a courtesy visit to the Dubai Ruler's Office to mark the beginning of his tenure in the country.

Sheikh Hamdan welcomed the Libyan Consul-General and wished him success in his mission in strengthening trade, investment, tourism and cultural cooperation between the UAE and Libya.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials.
