Deputy head of Hamas' political bureau Ismail Haniya offered on Friday condolences to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas over the murder of Palestinian Minister Ziad Abu Ein.
In a phone call with Abbas, Haniya stressed the need to stand against such aggressive practices by the Israeli occupation forces.
He also offered condolences to the family of the slain Palestinian minister.
Ziad Abu Ein died after an Israeli border policeman shoved and grabbed him by the throat during a protest in the occupied West Bank Wednesday.
