Beirut - MENA
The head of the Lebanese People's Congress Kamal Shatila called on the Arab Summit, to open in Sharm el Sheikh Saturday, to form an Arab national security council that will have under its command joint forces and a full security apparatus.
This aims at defending the unity, identity and independence of each Arab country, he said.
In a press statement, Shatila called on the Arab leaders to activate Arab solidarity to defend the identity of the region.
He urged also amending the Iraqi constitution, calling for supporting Yemen to preserve its unity and independence.
