The number of Egyptian pilgrims injured when a crane collapsed in Mecca's Grand Mosque rose to 23, the Health Ministry said Saturday.

No Egyptian deaths have so far been reported, said ministry spokesman Dr Hossam Abdel Ghaffar in statements to MENA.

Only three of the injured Egyptians have been discharged from hospital, Abdel Ghaffar said.

Two Egyptians are in an unstable condition, he added
