The arrest of the health ministry undersecretary of the specialized medical centers and his secretary came after information revealed that the first official asked for a bribe, worth 4 million pounds, from one of the specialized companies for assigning work of Nasser Institute, said the Administrative Control Authority (ACA).
In a statement Wednesday, the authority said that checks, worth two million pounds, have been found.
The prosecution decided to detain the two suspects for four days pending investigations
