A total of six people have died of sunstroke so far in Aswan since a heatwave has hit Egypt, Health Ministry undersecretary Mohamed Sourour said Sunday.

He added that 19 other people suffered a heat stroke in the governorate.

The health official warned citizens from direct exposure to sun light.
