Clashes increased in Taiz governorate in southwestern Yemen between the public resistance forces and the Houthis.

Both parties used heavy and medium weapons.

The Houthis suffered huge losses during the clashes, local sources said.

As many as 90 of the Houthis were killed and scores injured within the past 24 hours, the sources added.
