The Ministry of Defense announced Wednesday that a military helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing due to a technical malfunction.
No casualties resulted from the incident but the aircraft suffered some damage, according to a statement by the Ministry's Moral Guidance and Public Information Department.
The aircraft was taking part in a rescue operation in Failaka Island.
