As many as 147 candidates have applied Wednesday for the coming parliamentary elections, said the High Elections Committee.

They brought to 4,532 the total number of the candidates since the door was opened for application on September 1.

The polls, the final step of a roadmap announced following the June 30 revolution, will be held on two stages in October and November.
