Explosive disposal experts have managed to defuse a highly-explosive bomb found at the municipal council in Kafr el Dawwar.
Employees found a strange object at the information center of the council earlier Tuesday before sappers rushed to the building and handled the bomb.
Police cordoned off the area and the building was evacuated.
An investigation has been launched.
