A home-made bomb went off Friday in a Cairo road intersection, a security source said.

Speaking to MENA, the source said that the explosion occurred in the intersection between Gesr El Suez and El Qubba roads.

No causalities were reported in the explosion.

Sappers are currently combing the area to make sure it is free of any other explosive charges.
