Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal on Sunday sent a cable of congratulations to the Egyptian football team and their coaching staff after achieving a 2-0 victory in the crucial World Cup qualifiers against Ghana.

Abdel Aal praised the team's heroic performance that was crowned with achieving a big step toward the Egyptians' dream of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.

The victory takes Egypt to the top of Group E on six points, before Uganda that came second with four points, and Ghana that came third with one point, leaving Congo Brazzaville at the bottom of the table without points.
