House Speaker Ali Abdel Aal said Sunday proposals presented by some MPs to extend the immunity outside the House of Representatives are "unconstitutional".

During a parliamentary session, Abdel Aal refused to present the suggestions in this regard for discussion, describing them as "violation of the constitution".

There are other proposals calling for canceling the immunity even inside the parliament, he added.
