A recconnaisance plane of the Houthi group was seen flying over Aden city in southern Yemen on Friday.
This comes a day after the presidential palace in Aden was shelled.
Sky News TV channel said the sortie aimed at identifying the place, where Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi is hiding.
A warplane attacked the presidential palace in Aden on Thursday after rival forces fought the worst clashes in years in Yemen's second city.
