The Shiite Houthi group on Sunday mandated Chief Of Staff of the Armed Forces Hussein Naji Khairan to undertake the tasks of the minister of defense.
The move was taken after Mahmoud al-Subaihi, who had been previously appointed as minister of defense, reportedly fled from Sana'a to Aden.
